This Dakar-style / Stage Rally Raid

'Arrive & Drive' Caminos del Colono 2026 Rally-Raid Tour is something special! 

Ride or race at your own pace up high in the Andes to low in the Amazon of central Peru. 

In 1857 Austrian-German immigrants sailed across the seas, around the horn of South America, and walked over the Andes to found new settlements in a virgin part of the eastern mountain jungles of the Peruvian Amazon.  This Rally-Raid of 1,200 kms attempts to follow the routes used by the colonists over 160 years ago. 

You will ride over highland roads, some jungle trails, beaches and small river crossings.

The goal is to FINISH! 

The event is a test of man/woman, machine,

and will.  

Control timing is is done with RallyComp transponders and the time goals are not difficult to make.  The Liaison and Special Stages ratios are about 18% - 82%.

You can ride at any pace you like.  Over 50% of the other riders will be novices so don't feel bad just enjoying it as a challenging ride!  Completing the 1300 km and 14 competitive stages over the 4 main competition days is the key!

Imagine arriving in the frontier town of Pozuzo that is showcasing their Austrian-German heritage!  You will be received in the main plaza by thousands of spectators, dancing girls in traditional dress, and musical bands!  Then the awards celebrations laced with traditional Austrian food and local brewed beer !

Egle Gerulaityte, Author, International Correspondant, ADV Rider and Guide, Senior Editor, Rally Racer and Moto Overlander will be covering  the event AND racing together on your team!  YOU may even be featured as a foreign participant!  The event will show up in many Moto Adventure magazines and forums around the world!
